Joel Edgerton has joined Jennifer Garner in writer/director Pete Hedges’ fantasy The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
Based on a story by Ahmet Zappa, the film “centers on a childless couple, unable to conceive, who bury all their wishes for a baby in a box in their backyard. One day, they wake up to find that a child is born, but the child is not all that it appears,” says The Hollywood Reporter.
Zappa and Scott Sanders are producing the movie, which starts shooting next year.
Edgerton’s credits include Animal Kingdom and the upcoming The Thing and Warrior.
