“Glee” star Lea Michele is reportedly in talks to star in Garry Marshall’s follow-up to Valentine’s Day titled New Year’s Eve.
Michele would be joining a large cast in the ensemble film, to be produced by Mike Karz and Wayne Rice and again written by Katherine Fugate.
The story, with some of the same characters from Valentine’s Day, would be set in New York City on New Year’s Eve. New Line/Warner Bros. is eyeing a December 9, 2011 release.
Valentine’s Day, which cost $52 million to make (not including marketing), earned $213 million worldwide earlier this year.
