TheWrap reports that Sam Rockwell (Conviction, Iron Man 2) is in final negotiations to join Jonah Hill in The Sitter, the David Gordon Green-directed comedy at 20th Century Fox.
The film follows a college student, suspended for the semester and living back at home with his single mom, who has a night to remember when he gets talked into baby-sitting the eccentric kids next door — two boys and a wild 8-year-old girl.
According to the site, “Rockwell will play a villainous drug dealer along with J.B. Smoove of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ fame.”
Max Records, Kevin Hernandez and Landry Bender play Hill’s troublemaking charges, while Rockwell’s Conviction co-star Ari Graynor will play the female lead.
