Robbie Amell to Star in the Comedy When We First Met

According to Variety, Robbie Amell (“The Flash,” Max) is re-teaming with his The DUFF director Ari Sandel for the comedy When We First Met. Adam Devine (Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Pitch Perfect) and Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas, Baywatch) will headline the film, which is currently shooting in New Orleans.

The story revolves around a guy named Noah (Devine) who regrets being put in the friend zone with his dream girl (Daddario) after one perfect night with her, and gets the chance to travel back in time to find out what went wrong. 

Footprint Features, MXN and Wonderland Sound and Vision will produce When We First Met. Amell next has the Kevin Spacey comedy Nine Lives opening on August 5 and McG’s The Babysitter later this year.
