Angelina Jolie has cast Bosnian actress Zana Marjanovic (Snow) in the lead role for her directorial debut.
Jolie also wrote the film, which is set during the 1992-95 Bosnian War. It’s the story of a couple who meet on the eve of the war and the effect it has on their relationship.
Filming is expected to start later this year.
