Kerry Washington, Craig Robinson and David Alan Grier have been cast in writer/director Tina Gordon Chism’s comedy We the Peeples, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The film “follows what happens when a child psychologist (Robinson) surprises his girlfriend (Washington) by showing up at her political family’s annual get-together at their Sag Harbor vacation home only to find them desperately in need of therapy.”
34th Street’s Matt Moore is producing along with Tyler Perry Studios president Ozzie Areu, Paul Hall and Stephanie Allain. Lionsgate will release the film, which starts shooting in Connecticut in November.
