Bottleneck Gallery Raiders of the Lost Ark print melts your face
Strike your bullwhip and get ready to have your face melted off by the power of God! Brooklyn’s Bottleneck Gallery has unveiled its Lucasfilm-approved 35th anniversary screen print for Indiana Jones and the Raiders of The Lost Ark by the incredible Laurent Durieux, whose Alien print we featured in April. Check below for more details and lots of close-up pics in the gallery below, which also includes other Bottleneck Gallery prints we’ve featured in the past, including Alien and Star Wars.
Raiders, which opened on June 1 of 1981, is getting a 24 x 36 inch, 15-color screen print with metallic inks in a numbered time edition for $60, which went on sale today at 12pm est. through Sunday, June 4 at 11:59pm on the Bottleneck Gallery homepage.
There will also be two limited variant editions, one a red-hued numbered paper edition of 275 for $80 as well as a wood variant with the regular image and the backing replicating the crate that carried the Ark in the original film. That 15-color screen print on wood panel (also 24 x 36 inches) comes in a numbered edition of 50 for $275.
As an added bonus treasure Bottleneck will be randomly throwing in one of three pins (see image in the gallery) into your tube. If you do end up purchasing more than 1 print, you will get a different pin with each order.
