Comedian Rob Schneider, fresh off his appearance in Adam Sandler’s hit comedy Grown Ups, will be entering the world of family animation with Norm of the North, a new 3D animated film from Crest Animation, directed by Anthony Bell, who also made the upcoming Lionsgate animated movie Alpha and Omega (out September 17).
Schneider voices the title role with Ken Jeong and Loretta Devine also joining the voice cast.
The premise involves the title character, a polar bear named Norm, and his three Arctic lemming friends, who end up in New York City after their Arctic home starts to melt. Yes, kids, even cartoon characters aren’t safe from global warming.
