Elisabeth Shue will star opposite Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone, upcoming X-Men: First Class) and Max Thieriot in thriller The House at the End of the Street, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Directed by Mark Tonderai, the film centers on a teen girl (Lawrence) who moves with her mom (Shue) to a new town and learns that their home is across the street from a house where a double murder took place. Complications ensue when the teen befriends the massacre’s sole surviving son (Thieriot).
Jonathan Mostow wrote the story on which the script, written by David Loucka, is based.
Production is set to start early next month in Ottawa.
