Mads Mikkelsen Reveals His Rogue One Role

Mads Mikkelsen says that he plays Jyn Erso’s father in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

We’re less than eight months away from the big screen release of Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and, par for the course when it comes to news from a galaxy far, far away, a lot of specific details about the film are still shrouded in mystery. That shroud does get slightly pulled back today, however. Star Mads Mikkelsen was a guest on Sky News this morning and he revealed his character’s connection to Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso.

“Felicity plays a young, strong woman,” says Mads Mikkelsen, “And I play her father.”
