Batman v Superman crosses $300 million at domestic box office

Warner Bros. Pictures Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice added $1.245 to its domestic box office total on Wedensday, pushing it over $300 million domestically for a total of $301.2 million. The Zack Snyder-directed film is now the thirteenth superhero movie to reach this box office milestone, and the second this year following 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool. Worldwide the film has brought in over $788 million.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, joined by Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch, as well as Scoot McNairy, Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto.
