It’s not True Lies 2, but Tom Arnold is getting another action movie as he has been cast alongside Taylor Kitsch in Universal’s Battleship, the adaptation of the Hasbro game.
Arnold himself revealed he is part of the cast in a reaction to a Movieline article. “Doing Pete Berg’s ‘Battleship’ in Australia in August,” he said.
The action adventure will unfold as a massive Naval adventure across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Kitsch is playing a Naval commander named Alex Hopper in the film.
Battleship is scheduled for a May 25, 2012 release.
