Dean Norris, Lee Pace and Sarah Silverman are joining Naomi Watts in the Book of Henry cast
Three more actors have today joined the Book of Henry cast as The Wrap reports that Dean Norris (“Breaking Bad,” “Under the Dome”), Lee Pace (“Pushing Daisies,” The Hobbit) and Sarah Silverman (I Smile Back, Wreck-It Ralph) have all signed on for the next film from Jurassic World helmer Colin Trevorrow. Little is known about the film outside of the fact that it began as an original screenplay from bestselling novelist Gregg Hurwitz.
“‘Book of Henry’ is a remarkable piece of screenwriting that has stuck with me for years,” said Trevorrow of the mysterious feature when it was first announced earlier this year. “I feel very fortunate to be able to tell this story. It is a true original.”
The Book of Henry cast will feature two-time Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts (The Impossible, Mulholland Drive) in the leading role alongside young stars Jaeden Lieberher (St. Vincent) and Jacob Tremblay (Room).
Hurwitz himself is a New York Times and internationally bestselling author of fourteen novels including “Don’t Look Back,” “You’re Next,” and “Tell No Lies.” Hurwitz recently signed on to adapt his own novel Orphan X for Warner Bros. Bradley Cooper is producing that film and will potentially star as well.
Book of Henry will begin shooting in New York this month with Sidney Kimmel Entertainment set to independently finance and co-produce the film with Double Nickel Entertainment. Sidney Kimmel will produce, along with Double Nickel’s Jenette Kahn and Adam Richman (Gran Torino). SKE’s Carla Hacken and Jim Tauber are executive producers.
After Book of Henry, Colin Trevorrow will be heading to a galaxy far, far away. He’s been confirmed to be the director of 2019’s Star Wars: Episode IX.
