Sam Neill has joined the voice cast of Zack Snyder’s Guardians of Ga’hoole, an animated feature film based on the series of children’s books by Kathryn Lasky.
The film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father’s epic stories of the Guardians of Ga’Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones.
It appears Neill has replaced the previously-announced Hugh Jackman in the film, which is also voiced by Geoffrey Rush, Hugo Weaving, David Wenham, Emily Barclay, Abbie Cornish, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Jay Laga’aia, Miriam Margolyes, Helen Mirren and Jim Sturgess.
