Keanu Reeves Joins Singh’s ‘Panopticon’, Tom Hardy is ‘Taboo’ & Chris Pratt up for ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’

Keanu Reeves is reportedly in talks to star in Tarsem Singh‘s action-thriller The Panopticon. The story follows a seemingly ordinary man who receives a mysterious package containing a pre-recorded message from himself, warning that the world is about to end and only he can save it. Chris Pratt is reportedly attached to star in Universal’s adaptation of A.J. Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo‘s graphic novel “Cowboy Ninja Viking“, a story revolving around an assassin with Multiple Personality Disorder who possess the skills of a cowboy, a ninja and a Viking, and works for a secret government progam. Tom Hardy is set to star in “Taboo” a new series at FX set in 1813, following James Keziah Delaney (Hardy), “a rogue adventurer who returns from Africa with 14 ill-gotten diamonds to seek vengeance after the death of his father. Refusing to sell the family business to the East India Company, he sets out to build his own trade and shipping empire and finds himself playing a very dangerous game.” The project was created by Hardy and his father, Chips Hardy, with Hardy’s Locke writer/director Steven Knight writing the series. Jon Bernthal (Fury) is in negotiations to join Ben Affleck in Gavin O’Connor‘s thriller The Accountant. The film centers on a mild-mannered accountant (Affleck) who moonlights as a lethal assassin.
