Watch: New Clip from ‘Still Alice’ with Julianne Moore and Kristen Stewart

Julianne Moore is looking to get that Oscar. In Still Alice, she plays a character with early onset Alzheimer’s. Come on, that is money in the bank right there. The film, which will hit theaters on January 16th (it is getting an Oscar qualifying screening on December 31st), released a new clip featuring Moore and Kristen Stewart, which you can watch below.

I am not the biggest Julianne Moore fan. She is one of those people I always see acting, and it bothers me. I am sure she will garner a lot of attention for this performance, but I cannot say I am overly excited to see it. The film, for the sound of it, just feels like total awards bait, and that does not get me pumped for it either. I do like Stewart more than most, so that is something. The film also features Alec Baldwin, Kate Bosworth, and Hunter Parrish.

You can watch the new clip below:

Alice Howland, happily married with three grown children, is a renowned linguistics professor who starts to forget words. When she receives a devastating diagnosis, Alice and her family find their bonds tested. Alice’s struggle to stay connected to who she once was is frightening, heartbreaking, and inspiring.
