Clint Eastwood‘s Jersey Boys hits theaters this Friday and yet the 84-year-old filmmaker has already completed filming on his next project, American Sniper, the autobiography of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle starring Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller. Now Cooper and Miller are preparing to reteam for Chef for director John Wells (August: Osage County) with a screenplay by Steven Knight (Locke, Eastern Promises).
The film centers on a Parisian chef (Cooper) who loses his job and relocates to London, where he starts building a team to create the greatest restaurant of all time. Omar Sy (Intouchables) co-stars.
I just wonder if they’ll stick with that title after Jon Favreau‘s Chef, which was well received and hit theaters only this year.
Miller will next be seen in Foxcatcher later this year, followed by Black Mass and Ben Wheatley‘s High Rise. Cooper has Guardians of the Galaxy on the way, Cameron Crowe‘s untitled new movie and the long-delayed Serena alongside Jennifer Lawrence. [Variety]
