Stephanie Szostak (The Devil Wears Prada) has been cast as the female lead in Paramount’s Dinner for Schmucks.
Jay Roach is directing comedy, starring Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Zach Galifianakis and Lucy Punch.
The pic is based on the French film about the most pathetic guy ever to be invited to another man’s weekly dinner party.
Szostak will play Julie, the girlfriend of Rudd’s character. Filming will begin this fall for a July 23, 2010 release.
