While Nicole Kidman‘s Grace of Monaco has bowed out of this year’s Oscar race, the Naomi Watts starrer Diana remains even though early reviews from across the pond have been quite savage. Entertainment One is set to release the Princess Diana biopic on November 1 in limited theaters and today has premiered the first domestic poster featuring an isolated Diana and promoting her secrets.
There was early controversy surrounding the film which focuses on the last two years of Diana’s life, exploring a secret love affair with Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Khan (Naveen Andrews) and the early reviews describe it as “fabulously awful” and “cheap and cheerless”.
It will be interesting to see the film for myself and find out if this is just a case of UK press sharpening their knives before even seeing it or if it’s really as bad as they say. Check out the new poster directly below.
