“Smallville” creators Al Gough and Miles Millar will make their feature directing debut for Disney on Salisbury, a script the duo wrote as a spec, says Variety.
Disney and the scribes are keeping the plot under wraps, but the title refers to a fictional town. The plot revolves around a young cast and a supernatural element. The film is expected to cost around $40 million.
Gough and Millar’s script credits include The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Spider-Man 2. Gough and Millar have been writing a Disney movie based on the Disney theme park ride “Jungle Cruise,” and they are scripting Robotech.
