Steve Martin is joining Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin in the Universal Pictures’ untitled romantic comedy that Nancy Meyers (Something’s Gotta Give, The Holiday) wrote and will direct in February. Meyers is producing with Scott Rudin.
Martin and Baldwin will play rivals for the affection of a woman (Streep).
Martin, who next reprises his role as Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther 2, is re-teaming with Meyers, who co-wrote and produced both of the “Father of the Bride.”
