ComingSoon.net has an exclusive first look at the new TV spot for Lionsgate’s Disaster Movie, opening August 29th. Written/directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the spoof comedy stars Matt Lanter, Vanessa Minnillo, Carmen Electra, Kim Kardashian, G-Thang, Nicole Parker, Crista Flanagan and Ike Barinholtz.
Disaster Movie follows the comic misadventures of a group of ridiculously attractive twenty-somethings during one fateful night as they try to make their way to safety while every known natural disaster and catastrophic event – asteroids, twisters, earthquakes, the works hits the city and their path as they try to solve a series of mysteries to end the rampant destruction.
Also, Lionsgate has also started eBay charitable auctions for posters from Disaster Movie that were signed at the San Diego Comic-Con by Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian benefitting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. The winning bidders will receive studio certified signed posters along with a signed letter verifying their authenticity. The auctions, which you can view here, here, here and here, will continue through the weekend, ending August 4th.
