Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms are in final negotiations to star in the Todd Phillips bachelor-party comedy, “Hangover,” about three friends who lose the groom at their Vegas fandango two days before the wedding. The third lead role has yet to be cast.
The Hollywood Reporter says the project, a spec script which Warner Bros. acquired from Jon Lucas and Scott Moore last fall, is moving forward quickly, with cast and crew now entering pre-production.
Legendary Pictures will finance and co-produce the comedy. Phillips will direct and produce under his Green Hat Films; Dan Goldberg will produce and Scott Budnick will executive produce.
Phillips, who last directed School for Scoundrels for Dimension, plans on shooting the supernatural comedy Man-Witch after he wraps Hangover.
