Variety says that Jack Black has dropped out of the Todd Phillips-directed comedy Man-Witch at Warner Bros.
The studio confirmed that Black will not star in the film, which centers on a man who discovers he’s got witchlike abilities and ends up teaching little girl witches-in-training.
Warner Bros. said Man-Witch, which had a tentative January start date before Black disengaged, is moving forward on schedule.
