FUNimation Comic-Con Exclusives and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F Premiere Photos

FUNimation Comic-Con exclusives announced at Anime Expo

FUNimation Entertainment announced today at Anime Expo details on its line-up of exclusive merchandise (see photo above) for the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con. A total of five exclusive items will be available for purchase or as a gift with purchase at FUNimation’s booth (#4135). All items are in limited quantities and are only available to the public at San Diego Comic-Con while supplies last.

“San Diego Comic-Con is the top pop culture convention in the country and an important event for FUNimation every year,” said Mike DuBoise, COO of FUNimation Entertainment. “We’re pleased to be offering our largest line-up of exclusives ever, including our Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ and Attack on Titan brands — both of which have major theatrical releases later this summer and fall.”

ComingSoon.net also got a chance to attend the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ premiere held during opening night of the Anime Expo and you can view photos below. Actors Seán Schemmel (Goku), Chris Ayres (Frieza) and Christopher R. Sabat (Vegeta/Picolo), have been lending their voices to the beloved franchise for decades and attended the premiere. Schemmel, Sabat and Ayres are reprising their roles from last year’s highly-successful Dragon Ball Z: Battle of GodsDragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ is the 19th film in the “Dragon Ball” franchise. The story is the follow-up to Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and showcases the return of Frieza — one of the greatest villains in all of anime history. The new film will hit theaters across North America from August 4 – 12, 2015.
