More than 1,100 studio marketing executives, movie fans, celebrities and trailer editors were on hand as Universal Pictures/AV Squad’s work for Furious 7 titled “Family” won the Best of Show Prize and the top honor for Best Action.
While the Golden Trailer Awards bestows trophies in 78 different categories (full list below), only 20 were handed out live before a sold-out crowd at the Saban Theater.

Buddha Jones won 4 GTA’s.
American Sniper and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 tied for the films with the most Golden Trailer Awards, with each scoring award-winning entries in 5 separate categories.
T.J. Miller, comedian and star of HBO’s “Silicon Valley” served as host and master of ceremonies of the fun and spirited show while celebrity presenters included Neal McDonough (Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2), Breckin Meyer (“Franklin & Bash”), Chuck Liddell (Kick-Ass 2), Ian Gomez (Cougar Town) and Missi Pyle (Gone Girl). Celebrity judges included David Benioff, co-creator and executive producer of “Game of Thrones,” filmmaker Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World), actor, director, producer Tony Goldwyn (“Scandal”), director Brian Percival (“Downtown Abbey”), Academy Award-winning production designer Anna Pinnock (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Academy Award-winning sound mixer Ben Wilkins (Whiplash), Oscar and Emmy-nominated filmmakers Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini (American Splendor), Oscar, BAFTA and VES nominated VFX Supervisor Stephane Ceretti (Guardians of the Galaxy), award-winning advertising veteran Rob Donnell, comedian Blake Anderson and Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker Robert Stone, among others.
