CinemaCon: Check Out New Posters for Upcoming Movies!

cinnamonThe 2015 CinemaCon exhibitors’ convention and trade show doesn’t start until Monday, but ComingSoon.net got to Caesar’s Palace a day early to check out some of the movie posters that were on display. The line-up included a few new things we haven’t seen yet.

Some of them include a new poster for Sinister 2, which is different from the previous one, a new poster for Universal Pictures’ Everest, which is merely an image with the cast, the first poster for Bradley Cooper’s cooking movie Adam Jones, the Tina Fey-Amy Poehler comedy Sisters, and a very simple poster for October’s action sequel London Has Fallen, the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen. We also saw the first teaser poster for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit, which comes out in September.

Most notable was the presence of new distributor Broad Green Pictures, which rolled out new posters for their upcoming slate, including the Robert Redford-Nick Nolte dramedy A Walk in the Woods, the Ben Kingsley-Patricia Clarkson rom-com Learning to Drive and the first poster for the Michael Shannon-Andrew Garfield drama 99 Homes. The latter two premiered and were picked up by Broad Green at the Toronto International Film Festival.

cinemaconpixelscarThere was a slightly different poster for Me and Earl and the Dying Girl focusing more on the cast and another Sundance hit, Rick Famuyiwa’s Dope, had a few different banners and posters scattered around the hallways as if Open Road is trying out different logos. There was also a poster for something called Walt Before Disney, which I’d never heard of before seeing the poster.

We also got some cool up-close pictures of one of the actual vehicles used in Chris Columbus’ Pixels, which may be a part of the charity auction at CinemaCon (or it’s just there to promote the movie, we’re not sure). Either way, the car makes the movie look even more like Ghostbusters

We also have a bunch of pictures of some of the cool large-scale standees on display, some of which you may be able to see at your local theater.
