British actress Alice Eve (upcoming Crossing Over) will play a regular guy’s dream girl in DreamWorks’ comedy She’s Out of My League, says The Hollywood Reporter.
T.J. Miller (Cloverfield) and Nate Torrence (NBC’s “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”) also have joined the film, which stars Jay Baruchel (Knocked Up).
The story centers on an average Joe named Kirk (Baruchel), who after meeting and falling for Molly (Eve) — who is described as a “perfect 10” — becomes surprised when she takes an interest in him.
Miller will play Stainer, Kirk’s best friend. Torrence plays one of Kirk’s other friends.
Jim Field Smith is directing from the latest script by Tim Dowling (Coxblocker). That draft is based on an original script by Sean Anders and John Morris.
Filming is set to start on March 31.
