First Look at George Clooney in Hail, Caesar!

In anticipation of the completion of “The Idiot Quadrilogy” which includes O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Intolerable Cruelty and Burn After Reading, we have our first on-set look at George Clooney in full Roman regalia for Joel and Ethan Coen’s new period comedy Hail, Caesar! From the looks of it, it seems George Clooney can teach Andy Serkis’ Caesar a thing or two about looking dapper. Check out the stills in the gallery below!

Four-time Oscar-winning filmmakers the Coen brothers (No Country for Old Men, Fargo) write and direct Hail, Caesar!, an all-star comedy set during the latter years of Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Starring Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson and Jonah Hill, Hail, Caesar! follows a single day in the life of a studio fixer who is presented with plenty of problems to fix. Brolin plays the fixer, based on real-life MGM executive Eddie Mannix.

Hail, Caesar! is produced by the Coen brothers under their Mike Zoss Productions banner, with Working Title Films and Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan. Universal will release the film on February 5, 2016.
