MTV reports that New Line and HBO Films have set a May 30, 2008 release date for Sex and the City: The Movie, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, Jennifer Hudson and Lynn Cohen.
The film revolves around the lives of the four main “Sex and the City” characters, four years after the time frame of the finale of the HBO series, which wrapped its six-year run in 2004.
The big screen version of the show will face the Judd Apatow-produced Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Eddie Murphy comedy Starship Dave.
