Andy Milder (Transformers) has been upped to a series regular on Showtime’s “Weeds” for the dark comedy’s upcoming third season. Variety also says that Milder is expected to land a supporting role in Ron Howard’s feature adaptation of the play Frost/Nixon.
Milder has been recurring on “Weeds,” playing Dean Hodes, legal counsel for the suburban drug cartel and husband to Celia Hodes (Elizabeth Perkins).
Frost/Nixon will reunite Milder with Howard. The actor had a role in Howard’s Apollo 13, which he also reprised on HBO’s miniseries “From the Earth to the Moon,” which Howard produced.
