Universal Pictures has picked up sci-fi thriller Source Code, with Topher Grace attached to star, reports Variety. Ben Ripley wrote the spec script; Mark Gordon is producing.
The trade adds that while the plot revolves around time travel, other details are being kept under wrap.
Grace, who executive produces with his partner Gordon Kaywin, will next appear in Sony’s Spider-Man 3. He will star in Kids in America, which he and Kaywin are also executive producing, at Universal and Imagine Entertainment. He is producing Paramount comedy Cockblockers, in which he’s slated to star with Seann William Scott.
