With Love, a new Universal Pictures action movie starring Ke Huy Quan, will be released in early 2025.
Per Deadline, Universal and 87North have given With Love a February 7, 2025, release date. There are no other wide releases currently scheduled to be released on the same day as With Love; however, Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World comes out the following week on February 14, 2025.
Plot details for With Love are being kept under wraps at this time. The movie marks the directorial debut of Jonathan Eusebio, who was previously a stunt and fight coordinator on titles such as 2012’s The Avengers, 2012’s The Bourne Legacy, 2014’s John Wick, 2017’s The Fate of the Furious, 2018’s Black Panther, 2020’s Birds of Prey, 2021’s The Matrix Resurrections, 2022’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, 2022’s Violent Night, and 2024’s The Fall Guy.
With Love is written by Josh Stoddard, Luke Passmore, and Matthew Murray. Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, and Guy Danella serve as producers.
What other movies has Ke Huy Quan been in?
Quan started acting as a child and became famous for playing Short Round in 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Data in 1985’s The Goonies. He took a hiatus in the 1990s before then taking his first acting role in 19 years when appearing in 2021’s Finding ‘Ohana.
Quan then starred in Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s Everything Everywhere All at Once, which was released in March 2022 and won the Academy Award for Best Picture. Quan also won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor the same year.
Following that, Quan starred in 2023’s American Born Chinese and the second season of Marvel’s Loki. He voiced Han in the recently released Kung Fu Panda 4 and will be seen in Anthony and Joe Russo’s The Electric State, which is coming to Netflix in 2024.
