Paramount has revealed we’ll be getting The Crow in 4K soon, with the cult Brandon Lee film’s 30th anniversary fast approaching.
The Crow 4K Release Swoops in for 30th Anniversary
Exactly one year after a ruthless gang of criminals brutally kills young rock guitarist Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) and his fiancée, Draven – watched over by a hypnotic crow – returns from the grave to exact revenge.
The film was directed by Alex Proyas (I, Robot, Dark City) and starred Brandon Lee (Showdown in Little Tokyo), Michael Wincott (Nope), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Rochelle Davis, David Patrick Kelly (John Wick), and Bai Ling (Revenge of the Sith)
The Crow was Brandon Lee’s final performance after a tragic accident on set took his life.
A remake, directed by Rupert Sanders (Ghost in the Shell), is set to be released this year. It stars Bill Skarsgård as Eric Draven and will also feature FKA Twigs (Honey Boy), Jordan Bolger (The Woman King), Danny Huston (Children of Men), and Laura Birn (The Girl King).
