Arrow Video has revealed its lineup of movies and seasons for its Arrow Player streaming service in February.
Arrow February 2024 Lineup Details
Among the cult and classic cinema included for the month is the Sharp Shorts season. This collection brings four horror short films: The Wyrm of Bwlch Pen Barras, The Monkey’s Paw, Itch, and Smile.
On February 5, dark comedy The Day of the Beast and bad taste sleazeathon Dance With the Devil (aka Perdita Durango) in a double bill from Álex de la Iglesia arrives on Arrow.
The story of The Day of the Beast revolves around a Basque Roman Catholic priest dedicated to committing as many sins as possible (Angulo), a death metal salesman from Carabanchel (Segura), and the Italian host of a TV show on the occult (De Razza). These go on a literal “trip” through Christmas-time Madrid to hunt for and prevent the reincarnation of the Antichrist.
In Dance With the Devil, the wild and shameless Perdita (Rosie Perez) has met the man of her wildest dreams (Javier Bardem). He’s dark, tough, and mysterious. He likes robbing banks, trafficking in corpses, and spicing it all with voodoo rituals. Together, the duo sets off toward Mexico destined to become the most feared outlaws in the continent.
Elsewhere, you can find everything from Yakuza to French serial killers to giallo to mafia thrillers, in the Radiance Films collection. Radiance Films is a new label that curates an eclectic group of films, and the five picked for February 19 on Arrow have a distinctly 1970s flavor.
