Signature Films has announced that Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson, Top Gun: Maverick star Lewis Pullman, Westworld’s Ed Harris, and American Vandal’s Miles J. Harvey have joined the Riff Raff cast for the upcoming crime comedy.
They will be joining previously announced cast members Jennifer Coolidge, Brian Cox, Dustin Hoffman, and Gabrielle Union. In addition, Michael Angelo Covino (The Climb) and Emanuela Postacchini (Who Is America?) have also been cast in the project. Production has already started in New Jersey.
Who’s involved in Riff Raff?
“The film centers on a former criminal’s ordinary life which is thrown upside down when his old family shows up for a long-awaited reckoning,” reads the logline.
Riff Raff is being directed by Dito Montiel (A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints) from a screenplay written by John Pollono. The film is produced by Noah Rothman for Canopy Media Partners along with Marc Goldberg and Sarah Gabriel for Signature Films.
In addition to starring, Cox and Coolidge are also executive producing along with Adam Paulsen, David Sullivan, John Pollono, Chris Dennis, Christian Mercuri, Matthew Lesher, and Tiffany Kuzon.
