After it was initially reported earlier this year, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has himself confirmed that his Star Wars movie isn’t being made.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of The Marvels, Feige was asked if his Star War movie was happening. Quickly and directly, Feige answered with a simple “no,” confirming that his Star Wars project has been canceled.
You can watch the video of the interview with Feige’s answer below:
Regardless, Feige is keeping himself quite busy with all that’s going on at Marvel Studios, as The Marvels is set to hit theaters this coming Friday while Loki Season 2’s finale comes out the night before on Disney+. Additionally, Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 was just announced to be hitting the streaming platform “this Holiday Season,” meaning the immediate future has no shortage of MCU content.
What Star Wars projects are on the horizon?
Quite a few Star Wars projects are still set to release, including the Disney+ series The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew. The first season of Ahsoka finished airing just last month after releasing weekly on the streaming platform, while the video game Star Wars Outlaws is currently set to release some time in 2024.
