Bermuda: Marc Webb to Helm Skydance’s Action-Adventure Movie

According to Deadline, 500 Days of Summer filmmaker Marc Webb has been tapped to helm Skydance’s forthcoming action-adventure movie titled Bermuda. It centers around the region of the Atlantic Ocean where a notable number of planes and ships have gone missing.

The project is still currently in the early stages of development since no writer has been enlisted onto the movie yet, due to the ongoing WGA strike. Producers are Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, with Aimee River overseeing in behalf of the studio. After the strike ends, Webb is expected to consult on the script.

What’s next for Marc Webb?

Webb is best known for directing the Andrew Garfield-led Amazing Spider-Man movies. Aside from helming movies, Webb also gained recognition for working on several TV shows such as The Office, Limitless, Crazy Ex-girlfriend, The Society, and Just Beyond. He also directed music videos for popular artists including Green Day, Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, The Pussycat Dolls, Zayn, and more.

Before directing his seventh feature-length directorial project, Webb is currently preparing for the upcoming theatrical release of his film adaptation of Snow White on March 22, 2024. The Disney live-action remake stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot.
