A Jamie Foxx health update has been made by the actor’s daughter, who has said that Foxx is now out of the hospital.

Corinne Fox posted a story on her Instagram account disputing rumors surrounding her father’s condition. In her Jamie Foxx health update, Corinne confirmed that her father “has been out of the hospital for weeks” and has an “exciting work announcement” coming next week.
“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” Corrine wrote (via Variety). “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support. We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”
Jamie Foxx was first hospitalized on April 12 after suffering what his family described as a “medical complication.” Though little is known about what occurred, Foxx was said to be communicating with his family at the time of his hospitalization.
The actor most recently starred in the vampire action movie Day Shift alongside Dave Franco. He’ll next be seen in They Cloned Tyrone and voicing a dog in the comedy Strays. He has been filming in Atlanta for the movie Back in Action with Cameron Diaz.
Foxx won an Academy Award for Best Actor due to his performance in Ray and has been in a number of successful movies, including Dreamgirls, Django Unchained, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, along with releasing several musical albums. He was a breakout star of In Living Color and starred in his own sitcom, The Jamie Foxx Show.
