Paramount Pictures has just released a new clip from writer/director/star Chris Rock’s new comedy drama Top Five, also starring Rosario Dawson, JB Smoove, Gabrielle Union, Tracy Morgan, Cedric the Entertainer, Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, Jay Pharoah, Anders Holm and Michael Che. In the film, Rock plays Andre Allen, a successful comedian and movie star whose work was recently ravaged by a New York Times critic. His fiancée (Union) wants him to help her with her reality show while his agent (Hart) just wants him to make his next blockbuster. Instead, he teams with a journalist (Dawson) to make a serious documentary about the Haitian revolution.
Top Five hits theaters in a limited release December 5, expanding December 12.
