O’Shaughnessey announced on Twitter that she would be doing the voice and couldn’t wait for fans to see how the character will be in the film. Fans got a small tease at Tails at the end of the first film when he arrives through a ring portal in search of his best friend.
Best known for her role as Sora Takenouchi in the Digimon anime, O’Shaughnessey has been voicing Tails in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise since 2014 and was also the voice actor for Tail’s brief cameo in the first film.
