Almost two years after the theatrical release of Captain Marvel, production for its upcoming sequel will begin sometime this year with MCU star Brie Larson confirming in her latest YouTube video that she is already beginning her training. The Oscar-winning actress revealed that she set up a “really intimidating” home gym while also promising fans to share previews of her Captain Marvel 2 exercises with trainer Jason Walsh, who was also the one who helped her get in shape for the first film.
“As you may know, Captain Marvel 2 is gearing up,” Larson said. “I can’t say much more about it other than that, but I’m gonna get ready for it. It’s time for me to get moving.”
