E! Online reports that Black Widow herself, Scarlett Johansson, is pregnant with her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, with an expected due date this August. The site also reports that her scenes for the highly-anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron have been fast-tracked to the beginning of the production, and that she will arrive on the set April 5 after completing her Captain America: The Winter Soldier press tour.
Marvel Studios has yet to comment on the situation.
Also starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Thomas Kretschmann, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and James Spader, Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
