Hey, fellow Couch Potatoes! We’re back with another edition of the Watched at Home Top 20 from The Digital Entertainment Group and this week we’ve got four — repeat, four — new movies on the list! Sound the alarms, blare the trumpets!
First and foremost, Trolls World Tour stayed at the No. 1 spot for what feels like the one hundredth week in a row. But coming in at No. 2 we have You Should Have Left starring Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried. The film reunites Bacon with writer/director David Koepp, who teamed up for the thriller Stir of Echoes way back in 1999. Feel old, yet?
Yellowstone Seasons 1-3 continue to dominate the 3-5 spots, followed by The Outpost, Scoob! and new entry The Rental. Directed by Dave Franco, The Rental tells the story of a group of people dealing with weirdos while on vacation. Similarly, the thriller Most Wanted, starring Josh Hartnett as a journalist trying to expose a deadly frame-up, landed at No. 10 followed by the action-horror sequel Deep Blue Sea 3. People must really love thrillers during a pandemic. Or maybe you’re just hungry for variety.
The list rounds out with the usual suspects, Jumanji: The Next Level, Force of Nature, Bloodshot, Harry Potter, The Invisible Man, etc.
Still no Lord of the Rings.
