Deadline is reporting that Oscar-winner Julianne Moore (Still Alice, Far from Heaven, The Kids Are All Right) and Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things, IT, Ghostbusters: Afterlife) are set to star in the comedy-drama When You Finish Saving the World, written and directed by Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, The Double, The Squid and the Whale) in his feature directorial debut, with Oscar winner Emma Stone (La La Land, The Favourite, Birdman) attached to produce.

When You Finish Saving the World is inspired by Eisenberg’s upcoming Audible Original of the same name that will debut this year. Plot details for the film are being kept under wraps, but the film will have a slightly different focus than the audiobook, which has been scripted by star Eisenberg.
Set over three decades, the six-part audio show will follow three members of a family: Nathan, a father learning to connect with his newborn son; Rachel, a young college student seeking to find her place in a relationship and in life; and Ziggy, a teenager hoping to figure out where he came from, and where he’s headed. Wolfhard will also voice the show and Kaitlyn Dever is in talks to join.

SNL writer-director Dave McCary and Moore will also produce the film. CAA Media Finance will rep world distribution rights.
