Now You See Me helmer Louis Leterrier will direct the Sacha Baron Cohen spy comedy Grimsby for Paramount Pictures, reports Variety.
Baron Cohen and Phil Johnston wrote the film, which follows a British black ops agent who is forced to go on the run with his long-lost brother, who is a northern English soccer hooligan. When it was first announced in August of 2012, the comedy pitch was described as a parody of the “James Bond” franchise.
Leterrier was also planning a sequel to Now You See Me, but it’s unclear what the status of that project is.
