A new report from The Wall Street Journal says that some “Star Wars” characters are set to appear in the upcoming The LEGO Movie. Though which characters in particular aren’t mentioned, they join an ever-growing line of other franchised characters that will appear in the movie including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
Featuring the voices of Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Alison Brie, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Charlie Day, Will Ferrell and Will Arnett, Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s The LEGO Movie hits theaters February 7, 2014.
