The morning has finally arrived and the race for the 2020 Golden Globes is on as the nominations for the 77th ceremony have been unveiled and Netflix is already in the lead with nominations for newly-premiered The Irishman, Marriage Story, The Two Popes and Dolemite is My Name. The streaming service is also leading the charge in the TV front, narrowly beating out HBO’s impressive 15 nominations by scoring 17 of its own thanks to The Crown, Unbelievable and The Kominsky Method, while the premium cabler is enjoying a wave of nominations for its acclaimed limited series Chernobyl.
