As he has been doing since production began recently on director Brett Ratner’s Hercules, leading man Dwayne Johnson has taken to Twitter to reveal a new behind-the-scenes image. Take a look below for a first glimpse at the film’s Thracian army.
“‘Let it be to death or victory,'” Johnson tweets. “THANK U my ‘Thracian soldiers’. Intensity & energy #PreBattleSpeech”
The film also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Aksel Hennie, Reece Ritchie and Tobias Santelmann, is based on the graphic novel “Hercules: The Thracian Wars.” The ensemble-action film is a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist.
Hercules is scheduled for release on July 25, 2014.
