Jessica Chastain Plans A Most Violent Year

Jessica Chastain is eyeing a leading role in the upcoming A Most Violent Year, Variety reports. She’d star opposite the already-attached Javier Bardem.

Written and to be directed by J.C. Chandor (Margin Call), A Most Violent Year will be produced by Neal Dodson and Anna Gerb. Details, at this stage, are few as to the film’s precise plot.

Chastain, well know for films like Zero Dark Thirty, Mama and The Tree of Life, can soon be seen on the big screen in projects like Liv Ullman’s August Strindberg adaptation Miss Julie, Niki Caro’s historic drama The Zookeeper’s Wife, Christopher Nolan’s ensemble sci-fi tale Interstellar and Guillermo del Toro’s supernatural thriller Crimson Peak.
